FDA Drugs (CDER) Courses

The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) performs an essential public health task by ensuring that safe and effective drugs are available to improve the health of people in the United States. As part of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), CDER acts as a consumer watchdog in America’s healthcare system and is responsible for overseeing prescription drugs, generic drugs, biosimilars, and over-the-counter drugs. This oversight also includes products not commonly thought of as medicines, such as fluoride toothpaste, antiperspirants, dandruff shampoos, and sunscreens.

The educational materials presented on this platform are derived directly from previous events hosted by the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), such as webinars and conferences. For ease of learning, this content has been organized and broken down into smaller sections, including presentations and speaker information. Please note that this website is a third-party resource and is not affiliated with the FDA or CDER.
